Rinse or brush your teeth after you eat or drink – We can’t all brush our teeth after every time we eat, but rinsing will at the very least will keep these stains from sticking to the surfaces of your teeth. Make sure to try to give your mouth a quick rinse whenever you can sneak one in.
Use a straw – Using a straw will block your teeth from the staining agents that can be in food or beverages. Things like tomato juice, soda, coffee, and tea tend to dull the enamel over time. Sending these items directly to your stomach, rather than splashing around your mouth, will ensure that they are not hitting as much of the surfaces of the teeth. This quick tip will limit the amount of damage stains in drinks can do to your teeth.
